When to use the AI background remover
Choose background removal when the subject is the part you want to keep. It is useful for ecommerce product images, profile pictures, logos or graphics with a photographic background, presentation assets and other designs that work better with transparent edges.
The output is a PNG because transparency is part of the result. For best results, use a clear source image with a reasonably distinguishable subject and avoid expecting perfect separation from every complex scene, transparent material or extremely similar foreground/background combination.
When to use the AI object remover
